NFSA’s Don Pamplin provides his unique insight into how we can more effectively communicate the residential sprinkler message:

I saw a sign that said…………. “IN WAR, THE COST OF SUCCESS IS EXCEEDEDONLY BY THE COST OF FAILURE” The sign was hanging in a political science/history classroom and it was there to generate thoughts and dialogue about political priorities and strategies and how they unfold when engaged in a war. The quote is anonymous but it has been strongly suggested that it came from either Winston Churchill or Dwight D. Eisenhower. We probably will never know for sure who said it but what is more important is what it is saying and what it means when you are engaged in a war.
